William W. Kendall
William Wesley Kendall was a Medal of Honor recipient of the American Civil War. He served with Company A of the 49th Indiana infantry. Kendall was also a military conductor on the L. F. & L. Railroad.
Kendall was awarded the Medal of Honor because he "Voluntarily led the company in a charge and was the first to enter the enemy's works, taking a number of prisoners."
