West African Baptist Advanced School of Theology


West African Baptist Advanced School of Theology or WABAST, located in Lomé, Togo, is a Baptist Bible college.

History

The school was founded in 1971 as the Baptist Pastoral School by the International Mission Board, a Baptist Missionary Agency of the Southern Baptist Convention, to serve the French West African region.
In 1999, Bachelor of Theology programs is introduced.
That same year, the school take its current name, West African Baptist School of Theology.

The school offers programs in evangelical Christian theology, whose
licentiate.

Partners

The WABST is mandated to serve the French-speaking region of West Africa and collaborates primarily with four Baptist denominations, the Togo Baptist Convention, the Baptist Church of Benin, Union of Missionary Baptist Churches in Ivory Coast and the Union of Evangelical Baptist Churches of Burkina Faso.
