Watty Graham
Walter Graham was an Irish Presbyterian and member of the Society of the United Irishmen, in late 18th century Ireland. He lived in Maghera County Londonderry, and was educated Presbyterian who became an Elder of Maghera Presbyterian church.
Graham joined the United Irishmen and was a local organiser. At the time of the 1798 rebellion he was captured and subsequently hanged from a tree in Church of Ireland Rectory. His father James Graham also a United Irishman escaped and went to America.
The Magee College University of Ulster Fianna Fail cumman is named after him. The GAA Club Glen GAC is also named after him.
