United Kingdom Antarctic Place-Names Committee
following
Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey
surveys
, 1958–61. The feature is similar
geologically
and in
appearance
to
Terrapin Hill
in the
northeast
portion
of
the island
;
hence
the
application
of a related name.
