Tomás Polanco Alcántara - writer and historian from Venezuela. He was born on August 17, 1927 and died on December 20, 2002. He was awarded the Grand Cross of the Order of Isabella the Catholic, the Grand Cross of the Civil Order of Alfonso X the Wise.
