Tamale Technical University
Tamale Technical University is located in the northern part of Ghana.History
The university was started as a trades school in 1951 and as a technical institute in 1963. It received technical university classification in 2018 following its coversion from a polytechnic under the technical universities Act, 2016. The polytechnic now trains students up to the higher national diploma level, with provisions to mount degree programs soon.
