Switzerland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2006


Switzerland was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 by six4one, with the song If We All Give A Little.

Internal selection

The six members of the band six4one are Andreas Lundstedt, Liel, Tinka Milinovic, Claudia D'Addio, Keith Camilleri and Marco Matias. The song has been written by Eurovision foxes Ralph Siegel and Bernd Meinunger and been officially presented at the end of March.
The band was specially assembled for Eurovision from singers famous in countries across Europe.
Switzerland automatically qualified to the grand final, because it was on the top 11 last year. They opened the final in Athens on 20 May, following Moldova group finished 16th with 30 points. As the country failed to reach the top 10 in the final, it was forced to compete in the semi-final of the 2007 Contest.
