Sreeram Ramachandran


Sreeram Ramachandran is an Indian film actor who works in Malayalam films, TV series, musical albums and short films.

Career

I made my debut in 2010 in the Malayalam film, Malarvadi Arts Club under Vineeth Sreenivasan, which was a super hit and since then, I have been active in the Malayalam film industry. my second collaboration with Vineeth Sreenivasan, Thattathin Marayathu created a bigger mark at the box office, as it turned out to be a blockbuster.I am also famous for playing the lead role in the sitcom Chumma, telecast on Amrita TV. Wilson Joseph, Saran Dramaschool and Pavithra played the lead characters in the series. In 2013, I got introduced as second lead by director Shyamaprasad in his movie Artist, with Fahadh Faasil and Ann Augustine. My first musical album, Ninayathe, sung by Vineeth Sreenivasan and directed by Ganesh Raj was released, which was well-received on YouTube video channel. I did a TV commercial with the legendary actor Mohanlal for Kannan Devan tea. I have also signed for a few films which will release in late 2017. I didn't find success in Malayalam cinema and hence shifted his focus to the television industry, which increased My fame. I am currently playing the lead character Jeeva in the TV serial Kasthooriman on Asianet.

Early life

Sreeram Ramachandran was born in Kozhikode, Kerala. His father, Palai C. K. Ramachandran is an accomplished senior Carnatic musician and also the primary disciple of Sri Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer. During his post-college days he was called by Vineeth Sreenivasan to play a guest role in his directorial debut Malarvadi Arts Club and later in Thattathin Marayathu. His brother Jayaram Ramachandran is a graphics designer and animator in the film industry. He did his schooling from Chinmaya Vidyalaya Kozhikode and pursued engineering from AWH Engineering College, Kozhikode.
