Saleema


Saleema is a former Indian actress who predominantly acts in Malayalam films.
She had a lead role in Aranyakam and second lead in Vandanam. She is well popular among the Malayali audience for the portrayal of Ammini in Aaranyakam and Lekshmi in Nakakshatangakl.

Background

Saleema made her debut with Nakhakshathangal, a Malayalam movie in 1986. She is the daughter of famous Telugu actress Girija. She had acted in a few Tamil, Kannada and Telugu movies as well. She was part of some TV serials also and has acted in more than 150 advertisements.
She remained largely invisible in the film industry for many years.
As of March 2017, she is making a comeback into the Malayalam film industry.
