Sándor Szabó (musician)
Sándor Szabó is a Yugoslavian-educated pianist, organist, music director, and conductor. He is notable for performing as a concert artist throughout Europe and North America, and he has led orchestras and choirs to perform in major concert halls and cathedrals on both continents. He won prizes in national piano competitions in Yugoslavia and has performed on radio and television. He was assistant conductor and accompanist at the Serbian National Opera Theatre in Belgrade. He is the director of music at the Central Presbyterian Church in Summit, New Jersey, the Oratorio Society of New Jersey, and the Church at Point O'Woods in Fire Island, New York.
Together with his wife and children, Szabó has been a resident of Summit, New Jersey.
