Rebecca Peterson
Rebecca Peterson is a Swedish tennis player of Estonian descent.
Career
Peterson has won two singles titles and one doubles title on the WTA Tour, as well as eleven singles and six doubles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit. On 14 October 2019, she reached her career-high singles ranking of world No. 44. On 30 November 2015, she peaked at No. 95 in the WTA doubles rankings.Peterson made her WTA Tour debut at the 2012 Swedish Open where she was given a wild card.
She made her Grand Slam debut at the US Open 2017 where she lost in the first round to Denisa Allertová. In 2018 at the French Open, she had her first Grand Slam main-draw win when she beat Hsieh Su-wei in straight sets, before losing to Mihaela Buzărnescu in the second round 1–6, 2–6.
Playing for Sweden in the Fed Cup, Peterson has a win–loss record of 9–10.
