District 12 is located primarily in Northeast Queens, including the neighborhoods of Astoria, Long Island City, and Sunnyside, as well as parts of Woodside, Maspeth, Ridgewood and Woodhaven.
The district overlaps with U.S. congressional districts 6, 7, 8, 12, and 14, and with New York State Assembly districts 23, 30, 34, 36, 37, 38, and 39.2018
