prominent
pyramidal peak
about
east-northeast
of
Mount Mervyn
in the
Porthos Range
of the
Prince Charles Mountains
of
Antarctica
. It was sighted by the
Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions
southern
party
led by W.G. Bewsher in 1956 and named for
Nils
T. Lied, a
weather observer
at
Mawson Station
in 1956 and at
Davis Station
in 1957.
