Mono Puff
Mono Puff is a New York City-based band, supergroup and a side project of John Flansburgh, one of the founding members of They Might Be Giants.
The main band consisted of Flansburgh, the vocalist, guitarist, keyboardist, and songwriter; bassist Hal Cragin; and drummer Steve Calhoon of Skeleton Key, Enon and Pretendo. Various guest musicians supplemented the trio, notably Mark Feldman, Yuval Gabay, Ghost Krabb, Mary Birdsong, Elina Löwensohn, Flansburgh's wife Robin Goldwasser, Kate Flannery, Ammonia D, Trini Lopez, Jay Sherman-Godfrey, Jim O'Connor, Phil Hernandez, Frank London, Eric Schermerhorn, and Mike Viola. Artwork for the band's albums and singles was done by Flansburgh.
Currently, Mono Puff is on hiatus due to the relocation of some of the core members, though Flansburgh has expressed interest in pursuing further recordings.Discography
