Missouri Department of Transportation


The Missouri Department of Transportation is a state government organization in charge of maintaining public roadways of the U.S. state of Missouri.
MoDOT has been one of the leaders in the construction of the diverging diamond interchange, having built the first such interchange in the United States and the most of any state.
MoDOT director Kevin Keith stepped down from the position for an undisclosed medical reason on March 21, 2013, and retired effective July 1. He had served as director since November 2010. Former chief engineer, Dave Nichols, took over as interim director and was appointed director on April 2, 2013.
