Mariya Prizvan-Sokolova - actor and film actor from Russia. She was born on April 1, 1909 in Saint Petersburg and died on July 17, 2001 in Saint Petersburg. She was awarded the Medal "For Valiant Labour in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945", the People's Artist of the RSFSR, the Medal "For the Defence of Leningrad".
