Magnus Heunicke

Magnus Heunicke is a Danish journalist and politician. He has been the Minister for Health and Elderly Affairs since 2019.
He was born in Næstved to Henning Jensen and Inger Heunicke, and is married to Nina Groes. He has worked as journalist for Danmarks Radio, and was elected member of Folketinget for the Social Democrats from 2005. From 2014 to 2015 he served as Minister for Transport. He was appointed Minister for Health and Elderly Affairs in the Frederiksen Cabinet from 27 June 2019.
