Illinois Central
network
and its former rights-of-way
currently
form parts of the class-II
Paducah and Louisville Railway
.
It connected with the
Owensboro and Russellville Railroad
and the later
Evansville, Owensboro and Nashville Railroad
at
Central City
in
Muhlenberg County
.
