Lithuania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007


Lithuania was represented by 4Fun at the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 with the song "Love or Leave".

Before Eurovision

National final

Prior to the final, quarter-finals and semi-finals took place to select newcomers, well-known artists, and experienced singers. The quarter-finals were held from 27 January 2007 to 10 February 2007. A total of 21 songs were chosen by televoting and an "expert" jury to qualify for the semi-finals. For the semi-finals, the top 5 songs in each semi-final, chosen by televoting and an "expert" jury, qualified for the final, along with one wildcard qualifier.

Due to problems with the presentation of the voting results, Alien Run Amuck was chosen as a wildcard qualifier for the semi-finals.

Due to problems with the presentation of the voting results, Edita, Ingrida Paukštyte and Natas were chosen as wildcard qualifiers for the semi-finals.

Final

The final was held on 3 March 2007 at the LRT TV Studios in Vilnius. The winner was chosen by two rounds of televoting - the first to select the top 3 and the second to select the winner.

At Eurovision

Lithuania automatically qualified to the grand final, because it was on the top 10 last year. In the final they performed 9th, following Hungary and preceding Greece 4Fun came 21st with 28 points.
