Kurpania is a census town in Bermo block in Bermo subdivision of Bokaro district in the Indian state of Jharkhand.Demographics
As per 2011 Census of India Kurpania had a population of 7,789, of which 3,993 were males and 3,796 females. Scheduled Castes numbered 727 and Scheduled Tribes numbered 236.
