Kenneth Larsen


Kenneth James Larsen is a scholar is the fields of theology and English literature. Larsen is a research fellow at the University of Auckland, where he was earlier chair of its Department of English. He has published on a range of Early Modern poets, including editing the standard edition of Edmund Spenser's Amoretti and Epithalamion.

Personal life and career

Larsen was born in Hamilton, New Zealand. He now lives in Auckland. As well as publishing works on Early Modern poets, he was also one of the two principal translators of the revision of the Roman Missal proposed by the International Commission on English in the Liturgy in 1997. In addition to his fellowship at the University of Auckland, he is as of 2014 on the council of Manukau Institute of Technology. Larsen is also acknowledged in Voices of Authority by Nicholas Langrishe Alleym Lash.
