José Mollá
José Mollá is an advertising executive who co-founded la comunidad/the community with his brother Joaquin Molla in 2001. Today the agency has offices in Miami, New York, San Francisco, London and Buenos Aires. He is currently la comu's Global Chief Creative Officer.
La comunidad/the community was selected as one of the 25 most influential advertising agencies of the last 50 years, by Campaign magazine.
Before moving to Miami, Mollá was Creative Director at Wieden+Kennedy in Portland, Oregon, for five years, working mainly on the Nike account. Mollá’s work for Nike International, Coca-Cola and Powerbar led him to work in Wieden+Kennedy's offices in Amsterdam and London.
José moved to the US after helping Ratto/BBDO, in Buenos Aires, become the Argentinean agency that won the most international awards and also “Agency of the Year”.
He recently survived a shark attack.
He has been invited to judge several awards such as Cannes Lions, Clio Awards, The One Show, D&AD, ANDY awards, Art Directors Club,etc. and his work has been recognized by all of the International Awards.
José has been for 15 years on the Board of Directors of The One Club for Creativity, the biggest non-profit and organizers of The One Show award, and served as its Chairman for 4 years.
