Johan de Kock
Johannes de Kock is a Dutch former professional football central defender, who earned 13 caps for the Netherlands national football team, in which he scored one goal. He was a member of the Dutch team at UEFA Euro 1996 in England.
De Kock made his debut for Holland on 24 February 1993, in a 1994 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Turkey in Utrecht. He played for FC Groningen, FC Utrecht, Roda JC, and FC Schalke 04, with whom he won the UEFA Cup in 1997.
Unusually for a top level footballer, de Kock was a part-time player while representing the Netherlands at UEFA Euro 1996. He was employed as a road engineer at the time.
