Kahn has been a regular feature writer for the New York Times Magazine, National Geographic, and Wired, among others. In 2016, she gave a TED talk on CRISPR and gene drives that has been viewed over 1 million times. She teaches in the Magazine Program at the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism, and was a visiting Ferris Professor of Journalism at Princeton University in 2015.Awards
Kahn's work has been selected for the Best American Science Writing series four times, and is also featured in the anthology Best American Sports Writing.
