James N. Green
James N. Green is a Professor of Modern Latin American History and Portuguese and Brazilian Studies at Brown University. Green holds a doctorate in Latin American studies from University of California, Los Angeles, with a focus on Brazil. After living in Brazil for eight years and serving as the head of multiple Latin Studies associations, he is now the director of Brown University's Brazil Initiative, the Brazilian Studies Association, and of the Opening the Archives Project.Works
