Incision started back in February 2008, when four small town boys with each a vision of what their sound should be like, straight up classic hard rock. Some changes to the line-up the band rolled into 2009. They kicked off with playing their first gig in a local bar where the boys first performed live and felled the pressure of it all, With still just a few months as a complete band they had performances all over the province Noord Holland. Mid-way through the year complications arose which resulted in the departures of some band members which left them stranded. With enough writing down and a new year ahead they found them self’s back in action with a new member and some new ideas on the table. With some problems of not having a real singer they are searching for someone to take on that role. One month away from a big gig for them as a small band they were lucky to find the proper replacement. New music which was written could finally be completed and a batch of new gigs was planned down through the remainder of 2010. A promising start off 2011 also brought some problems with differences in musical directions which resulted in another line-up change. But charged with the opportunity to open for: Oliver Dawson’s Saxon. With new energy and the mentality to shift into a higher gear the band got booked throughout 2011 and things were getting hot. People started to get notice of them and their new show and look. Half way through the year again there came some problems along with in the band which resulted in the departure of one of the members. Within a month a new replacement was found and they were ready to rock again. With a new member to strengthen the band they worked on their performances and closed the year off in full force. At the start of 2012 they hit the studios and recorded their first demo, which was released on March 3. Still going strong they continue on performing and trying to better themselves which each show they play. Throughout 2012 the band kept on touring but also began to write new material for on the road and future releases. With Roy on board as a full-time writer the band's style has changed and the songs are getting better with time! At the end of the year Incision was asked to perform on a benefit for a festival that is collecting as much as possible to help fight the war against baby deathtolls across the globe, and with that gig Dani left the band on a beautiful note by performing in one of the hottest places of Hoorn Manifesto!
