History

Hulimavu was previously known as Amarapura, which came under the administration of Saarakeya

Around 1600AD the temple was renovated with the installation of idols of Seeta, Lakshmana and Anjenaya Swami. Sri Kodandarama Swami Bramhostava is celebrated every year.
