Girdwood Airport


Girdwood Airport is a state-owned public-use airport located three miles northeast of the central business district of Girdwood, in Anchorage Borough, Alaska, United States.
As per Federal Aviation Administration records, this airport had 2 passenger boardings in calendar year 2005 and 8,100 enplanements in 2006. According to the FAA's National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2007–2011, it is a general aviation airport.
Girdwood Airport also served as the Finish Line for the 12th season of the popular 5-time Emmy winning reality TV show, The Amazing Race.
