Gaius Porcius Cato
Gaius Porcius Cato was the son of Marcus Porcius Cato Licinianus. Gaius was elected as a consul in 114 BC and assigned to the province of Macedonia and campaigned unsuccessfully against the Scordisci. He was accused of extortion in Macedonia, and was sentenced to pay a fine. He sought refuge at Tarraco in Spain, and became a citizen of that town. This Gaius Porcius Cato was the father of Gaius Porcius Cato.
