There were 440 households out of which 25.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 51.4% were married couples living together, 8.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 38.0% were non-families. 36.8% of all households were made up of individuals and 24.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.18 and the average family size was 2.85. Age spread: 22.8% under the age of 18, 4.1% from 18 to 24, 20.3% from 25 to 44, 20.1% from 45 to 64, and 32.7% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 48 years.
