Desmond Koh Mun Kit is a former competitive swimmer from Singapore and represented the nation in numerous international competitions over a period of more than 10 years including 5 years as National Captain. Desmond represented the Republic in three Olympics, three Asian Games, one Commonwealth Games, one World Championships and five Southeast Asian Games. His younger brother, Gerald, also represented Singapore at the Olympics. Some of Koh's national swimming records stood for almost 20 years. His wife is Nadya Hutagalung, a well known personality and influencer, and a UNEP global ambassador. He graduated from the University of Southern California with a and was subsequently awarded a Rhodes Scholarship, to study at Oxford where he obtained an MPhil in Management Studies.
