Geography
Dättlikon has an area of. Of this area, 43% is used for agricultural purposes, while 45.7% is forested. Of the rest of the land, 9.6% is settled and the remainder is non-productive. housing and buildings made up 5.6% of the total area, while transportation infrastructure made up the rest. Of the total unproductive area, water made up 1% of the area. 9.6% of the total municipal area was undergoing some type of construction. The municipality is located on the southern terrace of Irchel evelvation, in the lower Töss Valley. It consists of the village of Dättlikon and the settlement Blumetshalden an der Töss.
