Cooper Lake (microarchitecture)
Cooper Lake is the codename for the 3rd Gen Intel Xeon scalable processors 14 nm processor microarchitecture developed by Intel as the successor to Cascade Lake. It was launched in June 2020. Cooper Lake features up to 28 cores and supports Intel Optane persistent memory. Cooper Lake supports DDR4-3200 memory, and higher AI inference and training performance compared to the standard Intel Xeon Platinum 8200 platforms. Cooper Lake is the first x86 processor to have built-in AI training acceleration through new bfloat16 support added to Intel Deep Learning Boost.List of Cooper Lake processors
