Claude Antoine Hippolyte de Préval - politician and military officer from France. He was born on November 6, 1776 in Salins-les-Bains and died on January 19, 1853 in Paris. He was awarded the Knight of the Royal and Military Order of Saint Louis, the Grand Cross of the Legion of Honour, the names inscribed under the Arc de Triomphe.
