Blepharocarya involucrigera
Blepharocarya involucrigera is a rainforest tree from north-east Queensland in Australia. Common names include north Queensland bollygum, northern bollygum or rose butternut. Trees grow to 40 metres in height. The leaves are 15–40 cm long and comprise 10-18 elliptic or lanceloate leaflets.
The species was formally described in 1878 by Victorian Government Botanist Ferdinand von Mueller in the 11th volume of his Fragmenta Phytographiae Australiae based on plant material collected near the Endeavour River in north-east Queensland.
It occurs naturally between Cape York and the Atherton Tableland.
