Beat That!
Beat That! is the debut album by English mod revival band Purple Hearts, released in March 1980 by Fiction Records. It was the second album to be released by Fiction and was produced by its founder Chris Parry. There were two singles released from the album, "Frustration" in November 1979 and "Jimmy" in February 1980, the latter of which reached number 60 on the UK Singles Chart.
The album was reissued on CD in 2003 by Captain Mod, a sub-imprint of Captain Oi! Records, and includes the B-sides to the two singles, as well as the band's first non-album single, "Millions Like Us" and its B-side.2003 CD bonus tracks:Personnel
