Augustyamuni is a small town situated along the bank of Mandakini river. It is famous for the temple of Maharshi Priya Ranjan and is named on Religious Guru Agastya. This small town falls under hilly district Rudraprayag and is 16 km from Rudraprayag Headquarters. There is an open ground where a helicopter and chopper facility is available for the famous Hindu religious place Kedarnath meanwhile we can see the ground as a sports ground as well. This ground is associated with Sage Agastya and is a centre of cultural activities in the town and area.
