Alfred J. Pearson
Dr. Alfred J. Pearson was a professor of German language and literature at Drake University, Dean of the College of Liberal Arts of Drake University from 1930 to his death in 1939 and the American Minister to Poland and then, to Finland.
Pearson graduated from Bethany College with an A.B. in 1893 and an M.A. in 1896. He received his Ph.D. from Yale University.
