Alban Ramosaj


Alban Ramosaj is a Dutch-Albanian singer, songwriter, record producer, actor, director and model of Albanian descent, known mainly for his idiosyncratic musical style.

Career

His musical career began at the age of 16. A semi-finalist on the third series of The Voice of Albania. He later went on to appear on the third series of the TV Klan dance show "Dance With Me Albania" where he won the second prize. He is the younger brother of Beatrix Ramosaj.
He released his breakout EP "Po Nese..." to critical acclaim in 2016. It generated his first charting on the top spot for four weeks straight through his single "A Me Do" In 2016, a song which also got Ramosaj nominated for Artist To Watch on Top Channel's Top Awards award show.
In late 2016, Ramosaj participated in the major musical event in Albania "Kenga Magjike"
where he got nominated for "Best Songwriter" and won the "Tendency Award".
In late 2017, Ramosaj was invited to be the opening act for Emeli Sandé's European tour in Tirana, Albania.
Ramosaj was also invited to appear in Dolce Gabbana's 2018 spring-summer collection ads. later that year he released his latest EP/Trilogy “Hiraeth” a project structured, written, directed and composed mainly by himself. A project also known for Ramosaj's mannifestation and statement of his inner style in sound, visuals and story telling.
In early 2019 Ramosaj was cast as the protagonist male act in the first ever web-series created in the Albanian speaking regions, “#Love #Likes #Tirana” directed by Dalina Buzi.
