Air Alderney
Air Alderney Limited is an airline scheduled to serve the island of Alderney, part of the Bailiwick of Guernsey in the Channel Islands. The company is based at the island's only airport, the States of Guernsey-operated Alderney Airport. Air Alderney was founded on 31 January 2017, and has faced numerous delays in commencing operations.History
The airline originally acquired permission to operate flights in early 2017, with licenses issued by the States of Alderney effective March 2018. After a series of delays, Air Alderney planned to commence operations in February 2020, however the States of Alderney ruled that the airline's licenses were no longer valid. Air Alderney will work alongside English airline Directflight, which operate regional flights in Shetland, Scotland.
Air Alderney currently owns two Britten-Norman BN2B-26 Islander light aircraft. Currently they are "G-HEBO", formerly of Hebridean Air Services, and "G-BJED", formerly of Cobham Aviation Services.Fleet
