The 2011 Hartford mayoral election was held on November 8, 2011. The election was saw incumbent Democrat Pedro Segarra win election to a first full term. He became the first openly-gay individual elected Mayor of Hartford, and making Hartford the second U.S. state capital to elect an openly gay mayor.Primaries
